Still Voting for Romney?

More power to you.

I was personally looking into voting for the man, even though I voted for Obama before. That was a combination of me liking Obama, who I've followed since before he was even considered for the presidency, and hating Sarah Palin, who is a soccer mom hell spawn moron uppity bitch in the sexiest way. I like John McCain and the worst thing he could have done is recruit that media whore to be his VP.

Well, to be fair, it's not like he himself chose her. Every time they were together you could see the Republican puppeteers pulling old Johnny's strings.

Jerry Lawler Collapses at RAW

Shocking news coming out of the wrestling department. Last night at the live WWE supershow in Montreal, veteran performer and beloved ring announcer Jerry "The King" Lawler suffered a heart attack during the broadcast. Things got scary very quickly, and some reports say he was clinically dead for 20 minutes before being revived.

I'm a big fan of the business, and even though I don't watch it as much as my younger days I still have nothing but respect for the performers of the WWE. Lawler was always one of my favorite bad guys, and before he was an announcer he was, and still is, the king of Memphis. Check out some of his classic interviews and matches, this guy was easily the equivalent of Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan, he just never seemed to catch the same breaks as they did.

Regardless, the thoughts and prayers of everyone on team Blogzilla 1985 are with Lawler and his family.

Mike Tyson Interview for WWE 13

Paul Heyman did a sit down interview with Mike Tyson to promote the upcoming WWE 13 video game. As always, Tyson comes across as likeable, funny, and still the baddest man on the planet. Be sure to watch it and pick up the game for your favorite home console in October!

A Wee Bit O' Random

No focused blog today. Just a bunch of random things to talk about. Here we go -

Of importance to some is the announcement of my next story. For those of you who enjoyed “The Coming Darkness,” both Pat and Lindsey, I bring to you another entry into my vault of horrors. Except this time there is no social commentary, no higher philosophy or symbolism, just a good old fashioned scary story. Two college girls go with ones family to a cabin in deep and vast forest for a week. While the parents are trying to resolve marital issues, the girls keep themselves busy with the few people they come across in the area, including a socially awkward young man with a strange paranoia. When the father becomes trapped in a snowstorm and resorts to unspeakable methods to stay alive, he begins to change and finds himself always hungry for more. I can't give away too much here, but I have been obsessed with this wendigo thing lately. This one is going to be super gory and I'm very excited about it.

Lindsey is still in the running for the Jim Henson/Fraggle contest. Although I think it's a tremendous honor just to be involved, I think the piece she submitted is amazing, and I would very much like for her to win. You can vote for her at -
